University of Houston 招收 行星科學(xué) 全獎(jiǎng)博士 - Fall 2026

NASA fund的項(xiàng)目，使用電子顯微鏡觀察隕石/月巖等，在Caltech做沖擊實(shí)驗(yàn)。有興趣的同學(xué)請(qǐng)直接給我發(fā)郵件 （郵箱下附），有學(xué)術(shù)上的或者休斯頓大學(xué)生活相關(guān)的問(wèn)題也可以交流。祝同學(xué)們申請(qǐng)順利。 We are recruiting fully funded PhD students in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) at the University of Houston. The successful candidates will join assistant professor Jinping Hu’s group and work on: 1) metamorphism and alterations in planetary materials, primarily martian meteorites, using electron microscopy techniques; and/or 2) shock-wave dynamic compression experiments on planetary analogs. The projects will also involve isotope geochemistry and geochronology analyses under close collaboration with other faculty members in EAS as well as Caltech, JPL and New Mexico Tech. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree by the time of Fall 2026 enrollment. Strong background in physical science or engineering, self-motivation in research and enthusiasm for planetary science are highly preferred.
