亞利桑那州立大學(xué)招收博士（semiconductor processing方向）

open positions: 2 phd student positions, 2026 spring/Fall we are seeking 2 phd students at arizona state university (asu) in tempe, az. these positions focuse on plasma-material interplay in extreme conditions for semiconductor applications but are not limited to this field. candidates with a strong research background in plasma physics, instrumentation, processes, or other relevant fields are highly encouraged to apply. The positions are set to begin in spring 2026, or fall 2026. this project is supported by a leading semiconductor company, applied materials. the successful candidate will have unique research opportunities to work with collaborators from universities, national laboratories, as well as applied materials. the selected candidate will be co-advised by profs. eric nian (https://labs.engineering.asu.edu/mmmp/) and wonmo kang (https://wonmokang3.wixsite.com/website). applications will be immediately reviewed until the positions are filled. interested candidates should submit a detailed cv to qiong.nian@asu.edu and wonmo.kang@asu.edu and provide detailed information regarding the listed eligibility below. 1. eligibility: a. self-motivated individuals with a degree in ece, mse, me, physics, or other relevant disciplines. b. a research background in plasma physics, instrumentation, processes, or relevant fields is encouraged but not limited. 2. support: a. full funding support for tuition and salary. b. funding for conference travel will be provided. ------------------------------ 亞利桑那州立大學(xué)（arizona state university），簡稱asu，成立于1885年，坐落在美國亞利桑那州州府菲尼克斯，是一所公立研究型大學(xué)。亞利桑那州立大學(xué)也是北美頂尖研究型大學(xué)聯(lián)盟美國大學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)（aau）的71所成員校之一。菲尼克斯是一個(gè)宜于生活旅游工作的西部城市，也是近年來美國人口凈流入人數(shù)最多的地區(qū)之一，該地區(qū)目前集聚大量的高新科技產(chǎn)業(yè)提供了大量學(xué)生合作實(shí)習(xí)以及就業(yè)的機(jī)會(huì)。亞利桑那州立大學(xué)也是在舊金山灣區(qū)擁有最大的校友會(huì)的幾所大學(xué)之一，非常有益于學(xué)生將來就業(yè)選擇。 |
