PhD Studentships in Anticancer Drug Discovery and Development Prof. Guangyu Zhu of the Department of Chemistry at the City University of Hong Kong, ranked 54 in the US News Global University Rankings, is offering PhD studentships, Postdoc, and Research Assistant positions, available immediately. Research in the Zhu Lab lies at the interface of chemistry and biology in the areas of anticancer drug discovery and development, drug delivery, and chemical biology. 朱光宇 教授是香港城市大學(xué)化學(xué)系系主任、國家杰青、香港青年科學(xué)院院士,F(xiàn)任亞洲生物無機化學(xué)執(zhí)委會秘書長、中國化學(xué)會青年委員會和全國生物無機化學(xué)執(zhí)委會委員,并擔(dān)任Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry副主編。曾獲亞洲生物無機化學(xué)James Hoeschele Award、香港城市大學(xué)理學(xué)院優(yōu)秀青年研究學(xué)者獎和香港城市大學(xué)理學(xué)院教學(xué)卓越獎等多個獎項。入選由美國斯坦福大學(xué)建立的世界排名前2%科學(xué)家名單。朱光宇教授專注于抗癌藥物的研發(fā)和藥物機理研究,包括開發(fā)刺激響應(yīng)型抗癌前藥、新型金屬抗癌藥物的合成和生物評測、以及利用跨學(xué)科方法開發(fā)癌癥特異性納米藥物以克服藥物耐藥性研究。研究成果發(fā)表于Nature Chemistry、Nature Synthesis、Nature Catalysis、Nature Communications、Science Advances、Chem、JACS、Angew和PNAS等學(xué)科期刊上。 Qualifications: PhD applicants should have 1) a Bachelor's degree from a top university with GPA higher than 80/100; a Master's degree is preferred; 2) an acceptable grade on English test (TOEFL 79, or CET-6 490, or IELTS 6.5); 3) a strong research background and publication record in organic/inorganic synthesis or in vivo evaluation of anticancer complexes using animal models; 4) the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a good command of English, both oral and written. 申請人需本科畢業(yè)于雙一流高校并達到英語要求。 Interested applicants should send 1) CV including a publication list and grade on English test; 2) transcripts; 3) a summary of past research experience to guangzhu@cityu.edu.hk.
