【招生】加拿大阿爾伯塔大學(xué)(University of Alberta)Electrical and Computer Engineering學(xué)院Prof. Xingqi Zhang 課題組現(xiàn)有多個全獎碩士、博士、博士后、訪問學(xué)者Openings。 【學(xué)校簡介】全球前100(CWUR世界排名81,軟科世界排名91,QS世界排名96), 多年來與多倫多大學(xué)、麥吉爾大學(xué)、英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)等穩(wěn)居加拿大前五,是世界頂尖研究型大學(xué)。學(xué)校位于加拿大阿爾伯塔省省會城市Edmonton,高新企業(yè)聚集,生活環(huán)境安全舒適,緊鄰落基山脈的班夫和賈斯珀兩個世界級國家公園。 【課題簡介】The positions generally involve both theoretical and applied research in electromagnetics and wireless communications. The research projects cover a broad range of topics, with a particular focus on the development of high-performance models/algorithms for emerging wireless technologies in 5G/6G/THz wireless communications, intelligent transportation (air, ground, underground), underwater communications, Internet of Things, as well as biomedical sensing and healthcare applications. The successful candidates are expected to conduct research, with a primary focus, but not limited to, the following topics: (1) Physics-based wireless channel modeling and optimization of sensor networks in cyber-physical systems. (2) Radio wave propagation and scattering (indoor, urban, terrestrial, body-centric), integrated sensing & communication, near-field communications/sensing, indoor/outdoor localization. (3) Acceleration techniques in computational electromagnetics, multiphysics and multiscale modeling for electromagnetic, micro-/nano-electronic, and biomedical applications. (4) Antenna & RF/microwave/millimeter-wave design and measurement, reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), electromagnetic compatibility/interference (EMC/EMI). (5) Machine learning and parametric modeling, physics-informed neural networks, stochastic uncertainty quantification. Specific research topics will depend on the candidate’s background. The candidate will have a chance to work with industry partners and international collaborators. 【碩士/博士申請要求】GPA至少3.3 out of 4。雅思至少6.5(單項至少6)或托福至少90(單項至少21)或 Duolingo 120以上(單項至少100)。海外學(xué)位的同學(xué)不需要提供語言證明。 【專業(yè)要求】電磁、通信、機器學(xué)習(xí)、計算機科學(xué)及應(yīng)用物理/數(shù)學(xué)等相關(guān)專業(yè)。已有相關(guān)科研經(jīng)歷/論文的同學(xué)優(yōu)先考慮。 【入學(xué)時間】每年1月、5月和9月三次入學(xué)時間點。 【備注】有意向通過CSC項目申請博士(每年3月15日前提交學(xué)校申請)的同學(xué)請在郵件中單獨備注。此外,課題組長期接收CSC聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)、訪問學(xué)者、博士后申請。 【聯(lián)系方式】有意者可參考導(dǎo)師個人主頁(https://apps.ualberta.ca/directory/person/xingqi3)并發(fā)送簡歷、成績單、語言證明等材料至導(dǎo)師郵箱(xingqi.zhang@ualberta.ca)進行詢問。 |
