研究方向: 3D printing of functional devices and biomedical electronics 納米材料與3D打印技術(shù)的有機(jī)整合能夠創(chuàng)造出具備前所未有功能集成度的新型結(jié)構(gòu)與器件。這種高度自由化的制造能力可突破傳統(tǒng)制造技術(shù)在幾何、機(jī)械和材料方面的局限性,使其更好地滿足各種三維系統(tǒng)的需求。我們的研究團(tuán)隊(duì)專注于在3D打印過(guò)程中實(shí)現(xiàn)納米材料的多尺度集成,以應(yīng)用于制造先進(jìn)生物電子設(shè)備,從而解決未被滿足的臨床需求。 The synergistic integration of nanomaterials with 3D printing can enable the creation of architecture and devices with an unprecedented level of functional integration. Such freeform fabrication capability could overcome the geometrical, mechanical, and material dichotomies between conventional manufacturing technologies and a broad range of three-dimensional systems. Powe青年教師增強(qiáng)獎(jiǎng) (Junior Faculty Enhancement Award)、礦物、金屬和材料協(xié)會(huì)功能材料部青年領(lǐng)袖職業(yè)發(fā)展獎(jiǎng) (TMS Functional Materials Division Young Leaders Professional Development Award) 、麻省理工學(xué)院科技評(píng)論亞太區(qū)35歲以下創(chuàng)新者獎(jiǎng) (TR35 Asia),以及猶他大學(xué)工程學(xué)院優(yōu)秀本科教師和優(yōu)秀研究生教師獎(jiǎng)。 Yong Lin Kong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rice University. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2016 and was a postdoctoral associate with Professor Robert Langer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before joining Rice University, he joined the University of Utah in 2018 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure at the University of Utah in 2024. Yong Lin's research focuses on the additive manufacturing of nanomaterial-based functional devices and biomedical devices. He has been awarded patents in "3D printed active electronic materials and devices", "3D printed multi-functional hybrid devices and structures", and "gastric resident electronics." He is a recipient of the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Program (ONR YIP) Award, National Institutes of Health (NIH) Trailblazer Award, Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) Discovery Award, 3M Non-Tenured Faculty Award, SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, SPIE Rising Researcher Award, ORAU Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award, TMS Young Leaders Professional Development Award, MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 Asia Award, and the University of Utah College of Engineering Top Undergraduate Teachers & Top Graduate Teachers Awards. |
