美國南佛羅里達(dá)大學(xué)(USF)機(jī)械系(ME)助理教授Zongqi Guo招收傳熱和超低溫保存方向全獎博士,2025Spring或2025Fall入學(xué)。目前有兩個PhD名額提供全額獎學(xué)金(包含學(xué)費(fèi)保險和生活補(bǔ)助)。希望申請人有機(jī)械工程或者生物工程等相關(guān)專業(yè)背景(化學(xué),材料等也包括),良好的英文寫作溝通能力(現(xiàn)在在和3個課題組合作),優(yōu)先考慮有傳熱和深低溫保存等相關(guān)經(jīng)驗的同學(xué)。歡迎有意向的同學(xué)發(fā)送郵件了解更多詳情:zongqiguo@usf.edu或者訪問導(dǎo)師主頁。 招收學(xué)生背景:機(jī)械工程,化學(xué),生物工程,傳熱學(xué),相變傳熱,超低溫保存等(只要你覺得能在組里找到感興趣的課題)。 招收時間:2025年春季、秋季 研究方向: The Bio-Thermal Research Lab (BTR) at the University of South Florida is dedicated to researching heat transfer and biological changes in biological systems during/after thermal manipulations (especially heating or cooling). Our goal is to utilize heat transfer to enhance the overall viability of cryopreservation of various biological systems, aiming to maintain biodiversity, advance healthcare, and address food sustainability. Our current research is broadly in the scientific fields of heat transfer, cryobiology (low-temperature biology), marine science, and micro/nanofabrication, with a particular focus on the following application areas: (1) Cryopreservation system design and advanced rewarming technologies. (2) Cryopreservation of marine life and cell products. (3) New cryoprotectant agent (CPA) design. (4) Supply Chain for cryopreservation. Candidates with interests in the following areas are encouraged to apply: (1) Fundamental of heat transfer (phase change heat transfer) and wetting.
