Phd student and postdoc positions are available at Dr. Peng Li’s lab to conduct research on developing new bioanalytical technologies through implementing innovative microfluidic, acoustic, electronic and material science principles for biomedical research and clinical applications. Prior experience in biosensing, mass spectrometry, separation, microfluidics, biochemistry, functional material development, nanostructure fabrication or related fields is preferred. Successful candidates will receive training in diverse areas including biomarker detection, micro/nano fabrication, separation, and mass spectrometry, and are expected to employ multidisciplinary approaches to advance chemical and biological analysis. The Li group’s research has been recognized by the field through a series of awards including Eli Lilly Young Investigator Award, NSF Career Award, and RCM-Beynon Award. Alumni of the group have successfully secured positions in leading industries, including Regeneron, Shimadzu, and Wilmington PharmaTech, as well as in renowned academic and research institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania and the National Institutes of Health.
