美國佐治亞大學Dr. Beiwen Li招收光學3D成像方向博士研究生（全獎）

Multiple PhD positions in 3D Optical Sensing Laboratory (3DOSL) at The University of Georgia Principal Investigator: Dr. Beiwen Li University of Georgia https://engineering.uga.edu/team_member/beiwen-li/ Program PhD in Mechanical Engineering Description Multiple PhD positions are available in Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 in Dr. Beiwen Li's research group (3D Optical Sensing Laboratory) at The University of Georgia. Selected candidates will work with Prof. Li to develop novel 3D optical sensing solutions and explore their applications in areas including in-situ monitoring for manufacturing and remanufacturing processes, surface characterization, robotics, and machine vision for agriculture. Priorities will be given to candidates with strong programming skills. Candidates without a master's degree are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in a related STEM area, including but not limited to Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Candidates with a master’s degree are expected to have background in one or more of the following disciplines: • Optics • 3D Vision • Image Processing • Machine/Computer Vision • Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Application Please send your vita, sample publication(s) (if applicable), and transcripts to Prof. Li: beiwen.li@uga.edu. About 3DOSL The 3DOSL is located at University of Georgia. The laboratory focuses on developing intelligent 3D optical sensing solutions with different speeds and length scales to address the needs in different engineering applications. The laboratory is currently funded by National Science Foundation, Iowa Energy Center, U.S. Department of Energy, and industry sponsors. The PI Prof. Li has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the 2020 SPIE Rising Researcher Award, the 2021 Emerging Leaders in Measurement Science and Technology Award, the 2023 Iowa State University College of Engineering Early Achievement in Research Award, and the 2024 Susan Smyth SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award.
