Oferta pracy Nazwa jednostki: Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology – Poznań, Inne oferty z tego miasta » Nazwa stanowiska: PhD student – doctoral scholarship holder Wymagania: • Hold a master degree in Materials chemistry, Technical Chemistry, Applied chemistry, or similar fields • Specialisation in advanced methods to prepare and test energy storage materials • Good demonstrated knowledge of electrochemical methods and/or materials synthesis • Familiar with using and interpreting data from physicochemical characterization techniques, especially XRD, XPS, TEM and Gas adsorption/desorption • Programming knowledge and experience with Matlab and similar softwares is handy • Good communication and social skills • Good proficiency in English Opis zadań: Ph.D student will work at Poznan University of Technology, Poznan, Poland. The work includes synthesis and investigation of novel two-dimensional and three-dimensional materials for charge storage applications. Physicochemical and electrochemical methods will be used to test solid state and slurry electrodes and energy storage devices. Mechanistic understanding of processes in the nanoporous materials related with the interplay of redox-active couples such as zinc and iodides is at the core of the work. Kinetic as well as dynamic parameters of ionic species in the bulk of electrode material will be evaluated. The objective of the proposed work is to finalize PhD dissertation and publication of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
