now openThe highly regarded Master of Science in Chemical Sciences programme at the NUS (National University of Singapore) under the Department of Chemistry is now open for August 2025 admission (Early Admission). The Department of Chemistry at NUS, established in 1929, stands as one of the largest in the region. According to the 2024 QS World University Rankings for Chemistry subject, NUS Chemistry has consistently ranked among the TOP TEN globally for TEN consecutive years, holding the 1st place in Asia. Our world-class faculty, outstanding research capabilities, and advanced laboratory and teaching facilities have collectively made remarkable contributions in chemical research and education both regionally and globally. Program Highlights: Emerging Chemistry Courses: The program offers courses closely linked to emerging fields of chemistry such as artificial intelligence chemistry, green and low-carbon chemistry, big data chemistry, energy chemistry, materials chemistry, smart pharmaceuticals, green catalysis, automated synthesis, functional polymers, and more. These courses aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for the future of the chemistry field. Additionally, we have invited entrepreneurial teams, corporate executives, and patent lawyers to teach students about the skillsets needed for careers related to chemistry.
