Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager in LKS Cryo-EM Laboratory of the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) (Ref.: 523285) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Role
? Overseeing the daily operation of the LKS Cryo-EM Laboratory
? Providing training to new users and offering technical support, advice, and troubleshooting for research projects
? Managing document handling and preparing reports
? Organizing events and seminars
Qualifications and Qualities
? Master’s degree or above in Biology, Physics or other related disciplines in science and engineering
? Prior experience in operating TEM, SEM, or Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) or management of core laboratory is preferred
? Self-motivated, responsible, good communication skills and enjoy team work
? Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
? Competency in using MS Office
? Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the position of Technical Manager
