職位：生物信息學(xué)研究員/博士后 院系： 香港中文大學(xué)化學(xué)病理系 工作范圍： 我們的研究小組致力于開發(fā)下一代測序數(shù)據(jù)比對和基因組組裝的方法。 加入我們團(tuán)隊(duì)，您將負(fù)責(zé)設(shè)計(jì)和開發(fā)新穎的算法和方法，以提高序列比對和基因組組裝的準(zhǔn)確性、效率和可擴(kuò)展性。 您的專業(yè)知識(shí)將有助于推進(jìn)計(jì)算基因組學(xué)領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展，并在理解遺傳信息方面實(shí)現(xiàn)突破性發(fā)現(xiàn)。 職責(zé)： - 設(shè)計(jì)和開發(fā)用于處理下一代測序數(shù)據(jù)的新型生物信息學(xué)算法。 - 使用各種計(jì)算模型和算法分析和解釋生物數(shù)據(jù)。 - 與多領(lǐng)域的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作，支持研究項(xiàng)目并提供生物信息學(xué)專業(yè)知識(shí)。 - 隨時(shí)了解生物信息學(xué)的最新進(jìn)展，并為新方法的開發(fā)做出貢獻(xiàn)。 - 發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文并在會(huì)議上展示研究結(jié)果。 要求： - 具有計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)、生物信息學(xué)或相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位。 - 擅長生物信息學(xué)算法及數(shù)據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu) - 熟悉下一代測序數(shù)據(jù)的處理以及相關(guān)軟件的使用。 - 精通 C、C++、Python、R 或 Perl 等編程語言。 - 出色的解決問題的能力, 較強(qiáng)的自我激勵(lì)和抗壓能力以及獨(dú)立工作或團(tuán)隊(duì)合作的能力。 - 良好的中英文口語和寫作能力 如果您對這個(gè)令人興奮的機(jī)會(huì)感興趣，請將您最新的簡歷以及包含您相關(guān)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和成就的求職信提交給宋永健教授（kwksung@cuhk.edu.hk）。 Position: Research fellow / Postdoc in Bioinformatics Department: The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Job scope: Our research group specializes in developing methods for alignment and genome assembly using next generation sequencing data. For this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing novel algorithms and approaches to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of sequence alignment and genome assembly. Your expertise will contribute to advancing the field of genomics and enable breakthrough discoveries in understanding genetic information. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement novel bioinformatics algorithms for processing next generation sequencing data. - Analyze and interpret biological data using various computational tools and algorithms. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support research projects and provide bioinformatics expertise. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics and contribute to the development of new methodologies. - Contribute to scientific publications and present findings at conferences and meetings. Requirements: - Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field. - Strong in algorithm and data structure in bioinformatics - Familiarity with processing of next generation sequencing data and experience with relevant software. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, R, or Perl. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
