Rare Metals ??1???????????????????????? Publishing options Rare Metals is a hybrid open access journal. Once the article is accepted for publication, authors will have the option to choose how their article is published: Traditional publishing model ?C published articles are made available to institutions and individuals who subscribe to Rare Metals or who pay to read specific articles. Open Access ?C when an article is accepted for publication, the author/s or funder/s pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The final version of the published article is then free to read for everyone. Authors may need to take specific actions to achieve compliance with funder and institutional open access mandates. If your research is supported by a funder that requires immediate open access (e.g. according to Plan S principles) then you should select the gold OA route, and we will direct you to the compliant route where possible. For authors selecting the subscription publication route, the journal's standard licensing terms will need to be accepted, including self-archiving policies. Those licensing terms will supersede any other terms that the author or any third party may assert apply to any version of the manuscript. Fees and Funding Article-processing charges (APC) Authors who choose to publish open access in Rare Metals are required to pay an article-processing charge. 這個問題有意思，不過，你的帖子本身有一些硬傷，可以仔細查看下。 1）第二個期刊是混合型期刊，有oa選項，也有訂閱模式，不存在你說的中文網(wǎng)站收版面費問題； 2）第一個期刊確實有疑慮，不過，很有可能是編輯部把之前中文版期刊的版面費規(guī)則直接放網(wǎng)上了，造成中英文不一致。 可以發(fā)郵件或電話問問，不一定是真雙標，可能是一次失誤；如果對方明確說了是雙標，那是問題，所以得先求證。因為正常邏輯不大會這樣，一般人投英文的會直接去elsevier那個投稿網(wǎng)站，而剛才那個期刊中文網(wǎng)站的投稿點進去也是editorialmanager的系統(tǒng)，既然不是兩個投稿系統(tǒng)，出現(xiàn)區(qū)別對待的概率不高，否則是自己砸自己的招牌。 3）問題1傳統(tǒng)期刊一般不收，為何國內(nèi)辦的sci收？如果期刊是訂閱模式的一般不收apc，至于國內(nèi)辦的英文sci是不是大部分都收apc，這個沒統(tǒng)計過，如果和中文期刊一樣的辦刊模式，收版面費也是可能的。至于原因，很簡單，國際期刊大部分是出版集團運營，靠訂閱費支撐，而國內(nèi)期刊基本是辦刊單位自己弄，大部分屬于研究機構(gòu)，但辦刊需要成本，而這些非盈利機構(gòu)可能支撐不起這部分費用，所以收費，這是關鍵。如果想轉(zhuǎn)變，那是一項大工程，需要學術出版行業(yè)的整體變革； ps：最后說個處理期刊疑惑的最簡便方法，無論中文還是國外的期刊，對投稿，審稿有疑惑，最好的辦法是直接郵件或電話問，網(wǎng)上發(fā)帖詢問則是最不可靠，因為你不知道回帖的人是不是真的了解，反而對自己帶來更多困惑。當習慣了和編輯部溝通，你發(fā)現(xiàn)很多事情比你想的簡單的多。前幾天國外某著名sci網(wǎng)站也是把自己介紹寫的有問題，我郵件后，半天就把網(wǎng)站錯誤改了。 |
