Research Assistant/Postdoctoral Research position recruitment in CUHK Surgery
|
Description We are looking for a full-time Research Assistant/Postdoctoral Research position to work in the Department of Surgery, CUHK, with Dr. Shannon Chan and Dr. Li Zheng and their research teams on the project 隆廬The Development of an Intelligent System for Real-time Automated Anatomical Recognition System During Endoscopic Ultrasound隆爐. Responsibilities In this project, the Research Assistant/Postdoctoral will need to participate in the work including image data preprocessing, image labelling, exploration and implementation of various deep learning methods/model architectures, and results evaluation for the development of an intelligent, real-time, and accurate anatomical recognition system. Eligibility and Qualifications For Research Assistant: Must have a Bachelor隆爐s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Basic programming skill, particularly in Python, OpenCV and PyTorch. Hands-on experience with the development process of a deep learning framework, including data preprocessing and annotation, deep neural network implementation, result evaluation (e.g., use of evaluation metrics / image visualization) etc. Knowledge on basic human anatomy is preferred but not essential. For Postdoctoral Position: Must have a Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced programming skill, particularly in Python, OpenCV and PyTorch. Strong hands-on experience with the whole development process of a deep learning framework, including data preprocessing and annotation, deep neural network implementation, result evaluation (e.g., use of evaluation metrics / image visualization) etc. Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaboration. Knowledge on basic human anatomy is preferred but not essential.
