For PhD students the funding is up to 48 months in total. Funding is also allocated to 3 visiting researchers and 7 visiting post-doctoral fellows from China to Tampere University. The funding is provided for 6 – 24 months for post-doctoral fellows and for visiting scholars for 3 – 12 months. Please see the eligibility criteria and instructions for applying in different scholarship categories. The deadline for applications to the joint scholarship programme is this year 10th March for the Chinese applicants. The applicants should have received a definite offer letter from Tampere University when submitting the application to CSC. A letter of acceptance from a doctoral programme is required from the PhD candidates and an invitation letter from postdoctoral fellows and visiting scholars. If interested in hosting Chinese post-doc fellows or visiting scholars, an invitation letter will need to be issued to the candidate. The candidates applying through the CSC Tampere University joint scholarship pool will be shortlisted by the University and a priority candidate list will be provided by the University to CSC.
