哈利法科技大學(xué) (khalifa university of science & technology) 兩維材料方向博士后 哈利法科技大學(xué)（khalifa university of science & technology, ku），地處世界上最安全最富庶城市之一的阿聯(lián)酋首都阿布扎比市。近年來阿聯(lián)酋政府大力推動科教，旨在傳承及振興中東地區(qū)自古以來之璀璨文明 （“哈利法”即含有傳承之意），及發(fā)展后石油經(jīng)濟(jì)。 ku始建于2008年。建校以來，校方致力于網(wǎng)羅各地科研精英，各系教授皆來自歐美亞名校，陣容強(qiáng)盛，科研實(shí)力超群。自建校短時間內(nèi)即已名列各大學(xué)排名榜前位 (2023 qs=183)。 the research & innovation center for graphene and 2d materials (ric-2d) hosted by ku is part of a strategic investment by the government of abu dhabi, united arab emirates to advance the scientific development and commercial deployment of technologies derived from graphene and other 2d materials. ric-2d will serve as an integral part of an advanced materials innovation ecosystem being developed in abu dhabi. established in 2022, ric-2d will host a range of activities to support both research and technology advancement of graphene and other enhanced 2d materials in the region. several postdoctoral researcher positions are now available in (1) synthesis and characterization of 2d and 2d heterogeneous materials for light-weight materials/sensor/filter development; (2) 2d material reinforced ceramic composites. successful candidates should hold a phd degree from a reputable educational institute, and have strong background in chemistry and/or material science and engineering. for position (1) applicants must be experienced in synthesizing 2d materials (such as graphene, phosphorene, mxene, hbn, and tmds). for position (2), applicants should have research experience in ceramic composites, and research experience in 3d printing of various materials systems would be an advantage. Successful applicants will have a chance to conduct short-term research at the University of Manchester's Graphene Engineering Innovation Center. starting salary for postdoc position is around usd 6.2k /month (tax free) depending on experience. interested parties may send cv/inquiry to: prof. kin liao department of aerospace engineering khalifa university of science and technology email: kin.liao@ku.ac.ae |
