There are several Research Fellow/Research Associate positions available as below: 1. GaN device fabrication using microfabrication tools - Research Scientist Your will be responsible for: • Design, fabrication, characterization and analysis of GaN-based transistors for ultra-high frequency (>100GHz) applications • Project management, assist project proposal drafting, project report drafting, slide preparation and publishing conference/journal papers. • Supervising junior staff (including IA Students, Final Year Project Students, Masters and PhD students). Requirements: • PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field • 2-year research experience in related area • Expertise in semiconductor device fabrication and characterisation • Knowledge in Gallium Nitride devices (e.g. HEMT, MISHEMT, FinHEMT etc) is preferred • Must be self-motivated and be prepared to work independently • Publication track record is an advantage • Proficiency in English Interested candidates, please Contact: Prof. Ng Geok Ing Director, Centre for Micro- & Nano-Electronics (CMNE) School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Email: eging@ntu.edu.sg 2. mmWave/THz/GAN Integrated Circuits and Systems - Research Fellow (Research Associate) Your will be responsible for research and development of mmWave/THz/GAN integrated circuits and systems for beyond 5G communication and radar applications. Requirements: • A PhD/Master/ degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. • At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Integrated circuit and device design, RF and microwave engineering, and radar system. • Knowledge and/or experience in using tools such as Cadence, ADS, HFFS, CST, and Matlab, etc. • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also in a team environment. • Fresh graduates with strong interest in radar circuits and systems will also be considered.
