2)必須在發(fā)簡歷之前達(dá)到學(xué)校要求的英語成績,小分也需要滿足,并放在簡歷中。未達(dá)到要求的請(qǐng)?jiān)徫覀儫o法對(duì)你的情況進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步的評(píng)估。具體可參考: https://www.monash.edu/graduate- ... ent/chapter-two/2-2 3) 對(duì)申請(qǐng)人其他方面的要求請(qǐng)參考學(xué)校要求: https://www.monash.edu/graduate-research/future-students/apply 詳情請(qǐng)看下方: position summary dr shen's nano-antimicrobial materials laboratory-part of the monash biomedicine discovery institute, is seeking ph.d. candidates to contribute to the design of new nanomaterials (including cubosomes, polymeric nanoparticles and self-assembly organic molecules) for various antimicrobial applications. the candidate must be currently resident in australia. successful candidates will be enrolled in either department of materials science and engineering, or department of biochemistry and molecular biology, monash university, based on personal willingness. shen's research group shen's research group focuses on the design fabrication, and in-vitro activities of new nanomaterials (including cubosomes, polymeric nanoparticles and self-assembly organic molecules) for various antimicrobial applications. her laboratory is well-equipped for nanoparticles formulation and characterisations, available facilities including but not limited to,pc2 facilities, high-resolution atomic force microscopes, confocal microscopes, super-resolution microscopy and cryo-tem facilities. moreover, shen's group holds a good coloration with the australian centre for neutron scattering, ansto and the state-of-art neutron facilities are frequently accessible to group members. available projects project 1. cubosomes as smart nano-carriers functionalization of cubosomes with s. aureus targeting carf peptide to develop an active targeted delivery system. cubosomes will be conjugated with carf peptides and the structure of new formulation will be characterized, with the antimicrobial effect tested. project 2. modification of cubosomes as a new class of nanoantibiotic antimicrobial lipids serve as promising candidates for the treatment of mdr infections. to improve the solubility of antimicrobial lipids, the candidate will formulate insoluble antimicrobial lipids into cubosomes as a new combinational delivery system. the antimicrobial effect of those formulations will be tested and neutron scattering will be employed to investigate cubosomes-membrane interaction ranging from angstrom to nanometre resolutions. project 3. lipidic nanoparticles for antimicrobial peptide delivery antimicrobial peptides(amps)have been recognized as prominent candidates to overcome mdr infections, which,however, may suffer from instability and inactivation in the organism. cubosomes offer a unique cubic structure to protect amps from harmful environment and controlled delivery to the target site. in this project,candidates will need to prepare cubosomes and incorporate appropriate amps in cubosomes that target a variety of gram-negative bacteria.the therapeutic efficacy will be evaluated both in vitro and in vivo. academic supervisor: dr hsin-hui shen location: department of materials science and engineering, faculty of engineering, clayton campus, monash university or department of biochemistry and molecular biology, monash biomedicine discovery institute,clayton campus. monash university selection criteria . a first-class undergraduate degree or equivalent, or master's degree, in relevant disciplines such as chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology, materials science and engineering,or a closely related field . problem-solving abilities . well-developed planning and organisational skills . capability to conduct research independently and in a team scholarships candidates are encouraged and will be supported to apply postgraduate scholarships at monash university. if successful, tuition fees will be totally covered and stipends available for a minimum of three years subject to performance at a rate of around as 29,500 (tax-free) p.a. contact: laixiangfeng@outlook.com using subject line full name + phd application |
