項(xiàng)目名稱:碳纖維增強(qiáng)復(fù)合材料拉索生產(chǎn)模擬仿真及應(yīng)用 Manufacturing Simulation and Application of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composite Cable 培養(yǎng)方式:西交利物浦大學(xué) + 集萃碳纖維及復(fù)合材料應(yīng)用技術(shù)研究院 聯(lián)合培養(yǎng) 培養(yǎng)地點(diǎn):蘇州+常州 博士導(dǎo)師: Dr. Charles Loo (西交利物浦大學(xué)); Dr. Dianlong Tan (集萃碳纖維及復(fù)合材料應(yīng)用技術(shù)研究院); Prof. Yuyuan Zhao (英國利物浦大學(xué))。采用產(chǎn)教研深度融合的聯(lián)合導(dǎo)師機(jī)制。 博士學(xué)位授予單位:英國利物浦大學(xué) 培養(yǎng)資助:免學(xué)費(fèi)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金(抵扣學(xué)費(fèi)折合80000元/年);博士生在集萃碳纖維及復(fù)合材料應(yīng)用技術(shù)研究院聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)期間,聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)單位提供4000元/月生活補(bǔ)助。 入學(xué)要求: 學(xué)術(shù)要求: 申請者需為機(jī)械工程、制造工程、材料工程、應(yīng)用力學(xué)專業(yè)或相關(guān)領(lǐng)域。 英語語言成績要求: 雅思6.5分(單項(xiàng)不低于5.5分) 或同等水平托福、PTE成績。 Project Description During the past decades, there has been significant interest in the application potential of carbon fiber composites as it offers many advantages over other materials and composites. This particular project will investigate the properties and capabilities of a new multi-purpose high-strength carbon fiber reinforced composite cable (carbon cable hereafter). The carbon cable differs from the existing carbon cable both in the manufacturing process and properties. In addition, it will study the connection of the carbon cable with other components. Potential applications include bridge cables, building reinforcement, engineering machinery, sailboat, and large stadium. It is one of the best substitutes for steel cable in many fields because of its excellent properties such as high strength, high corrosion resistance, lightweight, and low expansion coefficient. The project aims to carry out a new process based on the studies in recent 20 years, along with the cooperation with well-known carbon fiber cable R & D institutes at home and abroad to develop a new generation of carbon fiber cable, accelerating the application of carbon fiber composites in China and drive the development of the whole carbon fiber industry chain. 西浦學(xué)術(shù)導(dǎo)師 XJTLU principal supervisor Dr. Charles Loo is an Assistant Professor in Structural and Materials Engineering in the department of Civil Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He holds a BEng. (1st Class Hons) in Civil Engineering, and a MEng. in Structural and Foundation Engineering and a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Sydney. Prior to joining XJTLU, he was a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University. Dr. Loo also worked in the consulting industry for a number of years, designing complex structural facilities. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia with the Civil and Structural Engineering colleges (MIEAust CPEng NER APEC Engineer IntPE Aus). His research interests include multi-physical computational modelling, inverse analysis and optimisation, metamaterials, structural engineering, composites and smart sensors. 集萃產(chǎn)業(yè)導(dǎo)師 JITRI co-supervisor Dr. Dianlong Tan, graduated from Harbin University of technology with a master's degree in 1987 and Beijing University of science and technology with a doctor's degree in 1996. He studied on microalloying as a postdoctoral at McMaster University, Canada. He is also an industrial co-supervisor of North-east University and XJTLU-JITRI.
