抗衰老方向，有豐富小鼠經(jīng)驗(yàn)的優(yōu)先考慮。實(shí)驗(yàn)室經(jīng)費(fèi)充足，設(shè)備齊全，氛圍非常和睦。UConn Health地處farmington, 周邊安全性很高，生活便利。地理位置距紐約和波士頓各兩個(gè)小時(shí)的車(chē)程,。歡迎大家申請(qǐng) Dr. Ming Xu\'s Lab in University of Connecticut (UConn) Center on Aging is seeking for highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researchers for aging research. Multiple positions are available. Aging is the biggest risk factor for most of age-related diseases. The Xu lab uses novel animal models, primary human cells, and human tissues to investigate the roles and underlying mechanisms of cellular senescence in a variety of age-related conditions including frailty, compromised resilience, Alzheimer’s diseases, insulin resistance, bone loss, joint pain, infection, and others. The Xu lab has sufficient long-term fundings (3R01s, multiple R21 and R03) as well as excellent lab environment. The Xu lab has published a number of studies in various highly impactful journals including Nature Medicine, Cell Metabolism, Nature Aging, PNAS, and Aging Cell. UConn Health is located in Farmington, Connecticut, with 2 hours driving distance from both New York and Boston. In addition, UConn Health has partnered with the Jackson Laboratory with access to state-of-the-art new and renovated research facilities to do various single cell sequencing. We are looking for candidates who are interested in aging research. Prior experience in aging or senescence research is not essential. Candidates should have a PhD degree in biology or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree. Preference will be given to candidates with strong background in mouse studies including procedures and tests, molecular cloning, cell culture and immunostaining or bioinformatics. We offer N I H standard salary (~$54,000) with one of the best benefit packages.
