position • postdoc or research assistant/associate position department • department of industrial and systems engineering location • hong kong, hong kong forward candidate applications to email • mfymtang@polyu.edu.hk fields of expertise • computer science • machine learning & artificial intelligence • human-computer interaction job description • the appointees will assist the project leader in the research project, they will be required to: • develop computer programming and virtual reality (vr)/ mixed reality (mr) application; • implement vr and digital twin research with artificial intelligence (ai) integration; • conduct research and data analysis; • write research articles; • supervision of research projects applicants for the post of postdoctoral fellow should have a doctoral degree in computer sciences, engineering, stem, or related disciplines or equivalent qualifications and experience. applicants should also have: (a) knowledge of design and 3d modeling software, such as blender, 3dmax, etc.; (b) knowledge of computer programming, such as python, c#, java, etc.; (c) good knowledge in game design experience unity3d/ue4 or digital twin in ai, blockchain, etc.; (d) hands-on experience in software development; (e) trial tests and assessment; and (f) good english writing skills. preference will be given to those with immediate availability. for full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application. |
