美國西北大學化學生物學博后招聘

Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Chemical Biology at Northwestern University Dr. Xiaoyu Zhang's lab in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University is seeking postdoctoral fellows with expertise in chemical biology, proteomics, organic synthesis, and/or biochemistry. Candidates with programming and/or bioinformatic experience in omic data analysis are preferred. Postdoctoral fellows are expected to lead projects and gain multidisciplinary training in cutting edge molecular and chemical technologies. The expected start date will be in February or March 2022 but can be flexible. The Zhang lab seeks to develop small molecule therapeutic modalities that modulate disease pathways or targets in different ways from conventional occupancy-driven small molecule therapies. The Zhang lab will officially open on February 1st 2022 and have approximately 2,000 square feet of newly renovated space in Technological Institute. The lab will be equipped with Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid Mass Spectrometer and designed for multidisciplinary research, including biochemistry, proteomics, molecular biology, and organic synthesis. The department-affiliated facilities and research centers, including Proteomics Center of Excellence (PCE), High Throughput Analysis Laboratory (HTA), Integrated Molecular Structure Education and Research Center (IMSERC), Center for Synthetic Biology (CSB), Quantitative Bioelemental Imaging Center (QBIC) and other core facilities will provide supportive research services.
