香港城市大學化學系郭駿杰實驗課題組(www.kitkwok.com)現(xiàn)招聘2名博士后(1名分析化學專業(yè),1名RNA生物專業(yè))。 團隊介紹: 郭駿杰教授現(xiàn)正招募優(yōu)秀的研究人員加入實驗室。郭博士是香港城市大學化學系副教授,是核酸化學和生物學方面的專家。最近,他在Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols, Genome Biology, Nucleic Acid Research, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Chemical Science等著名期刊上發(fā)表了一系列文章。此外,他憑借優(yōu)秀的研究成果獲得了許多獎項,包括英國皇家學會國際交流獎學金、裘槎創(chuàng)新獎、香港城市大學校長獎等。并且,他多次受邀請撰寫綜述文章并以通訊作者身份發(fā)表于頂級雜志期刊包括Trends in Biochemical Sciences, Trends in Biotechnology, Nature Plants, Nature Chemical Biology, Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology等。自2016年以來,郭教授的實驗室與國內外大學 (劍橋大學、牛津大學、清華大學、新加坡國立大學、中山大學、香港大學、香港中文大學等) 建立了多項合作項目。欲了解更多信息,請登錄www.kitkwok.com。 我們的研究重點是探索RNA結構和相互作用在生物學中的作用,特別是G -四鏈體結構/相互作用和非編碼RNA結構/相互作用在哺乳動物轉錄組中的功能及其與基因調控、RNA代謝和疾病的相關性。目前實驗室的兩個新研究方向是開發(fā)一些用于檢測、成像、干擾這些重要RNA結構和相互作用的靶向工具,以及發(fā)明一些創(chuàng)新的、以核酸為基礎的技術來感知化學污染物和生物毒素。 研究的主題 1) G-四鏈體結構與功能 2) RNA生物學和基因調控 3)適配體開發(fā)與應用 --具有優(yōu)秀的分析化學和分子科學技能,具有核酸適配體和生物傳感經(jīng)驗的化學博士后優(yōu)先考慮。 --具有優(yōu)秀的分子生物學和化學生物學技能,具有RNA結構和生物學經(jīng)驗的生物學博士后優(yōu)先考慮。 應聘者應在相關領域取得博士學位,有良好的論文發(fā)表記錄,優(yōu)秀的英語讀寫能力。 期望薪資:24500-33000港幣/月,視乎研究經(jīng)驗、發(fā)表論文及資歷而定。 候選人應發(fā)送簡歷和求職信,概述如下: -研究成果的描述 -研究興趣和計劃 -至少2名推薦人的聯(lián)系方式,可作為申請信的依據(jù) 郭駿杰,博士,ckkwok42@cityu.edu.hk (招滿為止) English version Postdoc recruitment in Prof. Chun Kit Kwok’s lab at the City University of Hong Kong 2 postdoctoral positions (one analytical chemist, one RNA biologist) are available immediately at the Kwok Lab, Department of Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong. (www.kitkwok.com) Introduction of Team: Prof. Chun Kit Kwok is currently recruiting highly talented researchers to join the lab. Dr. Kwok, an associate professor of Chemistry Department in City University of Hong Kong, is an expert in nucleic acid chemistry and biology. Recently he has published a series of articles in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols, Genome Biology, Nucleic Acid Research, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Chemical Science. In addition, he has obtained many awards owing to his excellent research including Royal Society International Exchange Fellowship, Croucher Innovation Award, CityU President Award, and etc. Also, he has been invited to write reviews and feature articles as corresponding author for top-ranked journals such as Trends in Biochemical Sciences, Trends in Biotechnology, Nature Plants, Nature Chemical Biology, Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology, etc. Since 2016, Prof. Kwok’s lab has established many collaboration projects with Universities both locally and globally (Cambridge University, Oxford University, Tsinghua University, National University of Singapore, Sun Yat-sen University, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and etc.). Our research focus is to explore the role of RNA structures and interactions in biology, especially the functions of G-quadruplex structures/interactions and non-coding RNA structures/interactions in the mammalian transcriptome and their relevance to gene regulation, RNA metabolism and diseases. Two new research directions in the Kwok lab are to develop targeting tools for detection, imaging, intervention of these important RNA structures and interactions, as well as to invent innovative nucleic acid-based technologies for sensing chemical pollutants and biological toxins. Research Themes 1) G-quadruplex structure and function 2) RNA biology and gene regulation 3) Aptamer development and application --Candidates with excellent analytical chemistry and molecular science skills with experience in nucleic acid aptamer and biosensing will be preferred for the chemist postdoc post. --Candidates with excellent molecular biology and chemical biology skills with experience in RNA structure and biology will be preferred for the biologist postdoc post. Qualified candidates should have accomplished their Ph.D. degree in related areas, strong publication track records, and outstanding written and spoken English.
