博士后/研究員職位 3D打印和支架設(shè)計(jì)用于組織工程中藥物/基因遞送 南洋理工大學(xué) 化學(xué)與生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程學(xué)院 李光前醫(yī)學(xué)院 https://personal.ntu.edu.sg/sychew 新加坡南洋理工大學(xué)的Sing Yian CHEW教授實(shí)驗(yàn)室招聘組織工程、支架設(shè)計(jì)和藥物/基因遞送研究方向的博士后/研究員。 該研究項(xiàng)目的重點(diǎn)是設(shè)計(jì)組織支架,實(shí)現(xiàn)表面拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu)的構(gòu)建和進(jìn)行可持續(xù)的藥物/基因遞送,從而介導(dǎo)細(xì)胞響應(yīng)和神經(jīng)組織再生。目前實(shí)驗(yàn)室亟需對(duì)相關(guān)領(lǐng)域感興趣的人員,從事以下工作:設(shè)計(jì)、3D打印和表征新型可生物降解、可生物相容的組織支架,實(shí)現(xiàn)可控的藥物/基因遞送以介導(dǎo)細(xì)胞響應(yīng)和神經(jīng)組織再生;表征支架和細(xì)胞/組織的相互作用;研究相關(guān)影響因素,以控制藥物/基因遞送和支架降解的速率和程度。 實(shí)驗(yàn)室通過(guò)與海內(nèi)外多個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)的緊密合作,致力于將組織支架工程和可控的藥物/基因遞送系統(tǒng)應(yīng)用于神經(jīng)組織工程和干細(xì)胞工程。 主要崗位職責(zé): • 設(shè)計(jì)和表征具有可控藥物遞送能力的新型可生物降解、可生物相容的材料和組織支架,用于神經(jīng)組織工程和干細(xì)胞工程。 • 設(shè)計(jì)、優(yōu)化和制造組織支架(例如:水凝膠、可注射支架、靜電紡絲、3D打。。 • 表征支架特性:物理特性、藥物/基因釋放動(dòng)力學(xué)、細(xì)胞/組織相互作用等。 • 獨(dú)立設(shè)計(jì)和進(jìn)行實(shí)驗(yàn)。 • 希望能夠分析實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果,并在相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的高質(zhì)量期刊發(fā)表論文。 • 有優(yōu)秀的溝通能力,并對(duì)科學(xué)充滿熱情和奉獻(xiàn)精神。 • 與PI緊密合作,幫助監(jiān)督和培訓(xùn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室新成員,并確保研究計(jì)劃積極、順利地進(jìn)行。 • 能在相互協(xié)作的環(huán)境中工作。 • 候選者將有機(jī)會(huì)跨職能去探索自己的研究興趣。 要求: • 具有博士學(xué)位,具備相關(guān)研究背景和學(xué)術(shù)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。 • 在生物材料支架設(shè)計(jì)、制造和表征,以及可控藥物/基因遞送的設(shè)計(jì)和表征方面發(fā)表過(guò)論文。掌握蛋白質(zhì)印跡、免疫染色、qPCR、熒光顯微鏡(共聚焦)成像等實(shí)驗(yàn)技能,以分析評(píng)估支架的細(xì)胞反應(yīng)/相互作用/功能。 • 具有3D打印經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先。 • 有較強(qiáng)的口語(yǔ)和寫(xiě)作能力。 • 可獨(dú)立開(kāi)展研究工作。 • 具有較強(qiáng)的組織能力和主動(dòng)性,具有積極性、創(chuàng)造性、批判性和分析性思維,較強(qiáng)的科學(xué)責(zé)任感和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作能力。 該職位的招聘申請(qǐng)將持續(xù)進(jìn)行,直到名額招滿為止。申請(qǐng)人需要提交求職信,說(shuō)明感興趣的領(lǐng)域以及初步的研究計(jì)劃。另外附一份完整的簡(jiǎn)歷和三份推薦信。請(qǐng)將申請(qǐng)材料發(fā)至Sing Yian CHEW博士郵箱:sychew@ntu.edu.sg Postdoc/Research Fellow position in 3D-printing & Scaffold Design for Drug/gene delivery in Tissue Engineering Nanyang Technological University School of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine https://personal.ntu.edu.sg/sychew A Postdoc/Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sing Yian CHEW at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, to a highly motivated candidate who has a passion for tissue engineering, scaffold design and drug/gene delivery research. The focus of this project is to design tissue scaffolds to impart topographical signals and sustained drug/gene delivery to direct cell fate and neural tissue regeneration. We are seeking an individual who is interested in designing, 3D-printing and characterizing novel biodegradable, biocompatible tissue scaffolds with controlled drug/ gene delivery capabilities to direct cell response and neural tissue regeneration, characterizing scaffold-cell/tissue interactions, engineering factors that control the rate and extent of drug/gene delivery and scaffold degradation. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply tissue scaffold engineering and controlled drug/gene delivery skills to neural tissue engineering and stem cell engineering, through strong collaborative efforts with multiple local and overseas academic institutes. Key responsibilities: • Design and characterize novel biodegradable, biocompatible materials and tissue scaffolds with controlled drug delivery capabilities for neural tissue engineering & stem cell engineering. • Design, optimize and fabricate tissue scaffolds (e.g. hydrogels, injectable scaffolds, electrospinning, 3D printing) • Characterize scaffold properties: physical characteristics, drug/gene release kinetics, cell/tissue interactions, etc. • Design and execute experiments independently. • Expected to interpret experimental results, and author papers in high-quality journals in areas that are related to the research. • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong passion and commitment to science. • Work closely with the Principal Investigator to help supervise and train junior lab members and to ensure smooth functioning of an active research program. • Expected to work in a collaborative inter-institute environment. • The candidate will have the opportunity to explore his/her own interests across functions. Requirements: • Ph.D. level scientist with relevant background and experience. • Published experience in biomaterials scaffold design, fabrication and characterization, controlled drug/gene delivery design and characterization. Evaluation of cellular response/interactions/functionality with scaffolds using western blotting, immunostaining, qPCR, fluorescent microscopy (confocal) imaging, functional assays. • Experience in 3D printing is a plus. • Strong ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form. • Strong ability to perform independent, self-directed work. • Strong organizational skills and proactive personality with outstanding motivation, creativity, critical and analytical thinking skills, strong scientific commitment and ability to work as a team.
