You are fully supported by scholarships with excellent monthly stipend (S$ 2000/2500 per month for student before/after passing QE). Please feel free to contact me and send your application directly if you have a great academic performance (GPA > 80%) in Bachelor and/or Master degree from very good universities. Having a master degree is preferred but not required. 1 opening PhD position on Nanomaterials and optoelectronic/photonic applications. The research will utilize novel materials today such as quantum dots, nanoplatelets or halide perovskites for developing high performance devices. The project will focus on light emitting devices and schintilating applications. The student will be trained in material characterizations, device physics and architecture. Combining both the electrical, electronic properties and photonic engineering approaches to deliver high performance optoelectronic devices. Please see our publications to understand our recent research activity in this field. 1 opening PhD position on optical imaging through strongly scattering media or computational imaging. The research will focus on imaging of an object through strongly scattering media with or without characterizing the media. With characterizing media, we will utilize strongly scattering media as the lens in imaging system (including microscopy system). Without characterizing media, we basically can do imaging through various biological tissues nonivasively. This will potentially contribute significantly to biomedical imaging technology in future.
