Experimental nanophotonics in electron microscopes @ NTU Singapore

We are seeking talented, independent-minded and highly motivated postdocs (PhD) and research associates (Bachelor's or Master's) ready to hit the ground running in experimental research on nanophotonics in our cutting-edge electron microscopes (納米光學(xué)電子顯微鏡實(shí)驗(yàn)). Our group explores novel phenomena and groundbreaking applications arising from free electron driven physics in nanophotonic systems. Our studies lie at the intersection from electron-photon interactions, nanomaterials and nonlinear optics. We are based at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore (新加坡南洋理工大學(xué)). We are looking for applicants with the following attributes: • Proficiency in operating electron sources, such as SEMs, TEMs and time-resolved cathodoluminescence microscopes. • Strong background in photonics or electrodynamics-related fields • Self-motivated and highly independent. • Works well individually as well as in a team • Eager to learn new things and passionate about research • Preferably strong background in nonlinear optics, quantum electrodynamics and ultrafast phenomena For more details of our research, visit our • Group website (replace “@@” by “oo”): https://sites.g@@gle.com/view/ljwgroup • LinkedIn: https://sg.linkedin.com/in/liang-jie-wong-795860193 Interested parties should contact Prof. Wong Liang Jie at email address liangjie.wong (at) ntu (dot) edu (dot) sg with CV, full academic transcripts and the contact details of 3 references.
