論文中誤差分析的編輯修改意見，應(yīng)如何修改和回復(fù) 已有1人參與

論文投稿，每個(gè)處理的實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果用了means±SD表示，編輯提出了如下修改意見，希望用pooled standard deviation，論文中我的數(shù)據(jù)是一共11組處理，每組處理有兩個(gè)條件，即條件1和條件2分別計(jì)算means±SD（n=3~6），處理1~11進(jìn)行顯著性分析�，F(xiàn)在按編輯意思不應(yīng)該用SD，而用pooled SD，不是很理解編輯的意圖，不知道該如何修改和回復(fù)，尋求大神幫助。 編輯意見：In Tables indicate number of replicates and give a pooled estimator for the precision of the measurements (pooled standard deviation, confidence interval or least significant difference). Any of the last three are preferred for measurements which are within the same order of magnitude. Such pooled estimators are much more robust than SDs calculated on only part of the data. They add one line/column to the Tables but eliminate all individual SDs Pooled variance is a method for estimating variance given several different samples taken in different circumstances where the mean may vary between samples but the true variance (equivalently, precision) is assumed to remain the same. Pooled variance is calculated for a series of replicated measurements as the sum of individual variances pondered by degrees of freedom (sum of VarixDFi / sumDF). The square-root of a pooled variance estimator is known as a pooled standard deviation. |
