RESEARCH INSTITUTE: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT, one of the excellence university in Germany) RESEARCH FIELD: Chemistry › Computational chemistry Chemistry › Electrochemistry/ Physical chemistry RESEARCH GROUP: Prof. Wolfgang Wenzel LOCATION: Karlsruhe > Germany JOB STATUS: 66% OFFER STARTING DATE: at once The applicant is supposed to work on multi-scale simulations, especially Molecular Dynamics and possibly Machine Learning, in the area of batteries, especially Li-ion battery and Li-air battery. The candidate should have a Master in physics or chemistry and simulation skills in molecular dynamics (MD), DFT etc., are highly appreciated. Knowledge in the field of electrochemisty and catalysis are an advantage. Being fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
