愛爾蘭都柏林UCD大學(xué)博后招聘

Dr Nan Zhang is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Manufacturing and Design in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland. His team works in three areas: (1) precision fabrication of polymeric microfluidics, (2) functional surfaces and medical devices, and (3) Atomic and close to atomic scale manufacturing. He is an active member of the UCD centre of micro/nano manufacturing technology (MNMT-Dublin). He has published more than 24 international peer-reviewed paper in Materials today, Journal of Materials Processing Technology, Material & Design and Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering. He is the chair of 6th international conference on polymer replication on the nanoscale. He research activity has generated many patents and has been on the way for commercialisation. His team has established a process chain covers UV-lithography, physical vapour deposition, precision electroforming, micro injection moulding and nanoimprinting. This leads to many applications in the areas of microfluidics, medical stents, functional surfaces, structural colour fabrication and medical devices. His team and MNMT-Dublin also works on atomic-scale manufacturing for future quantum device development and fabrication.
