本書是黃克孫先生的《統(tǒng)計(jì)力學(xué)》，是一本比較好的統(tǒng)計(jì)物理教材。 Unlike most other texts on the subject, this clear, concise introduction to the theory of microscopic bodies treats the modern theory of critical phenomena. Provides up-to-date coverage of recent major advances, including a self-contained description of thermodynamics and the classical kinetic theory of gases, interesting applications such as superfluids and the quantum Hall effect, several current research applications, The last three chapters are devoted to the Landau-Wilson approach to critical phenomena. Many new problems and illustrations have been added to this edition. 作者介紹：黃克孫（英文名：Kerson Huang，1928年3月15日－2016年9月1日），生于中國廣西南寧，在菲律賓馬尼拉長大。美籍華裔物理學(xué)家、翻譯家，曾任麻省理工學(xué)院物理學(xué)教授，出版統(tǒng)計(jì)力學(xué)的著作。他是美國物理學(xué)會會員和美國藝術(shù)與科學(xué)院院士。對華文讀者來說，黃克孫最有名的是把波斯詩人歐瑪爾·海亞姆的《魯拜集》翻譯成中文。黃克孫在成為物理系研究生時(shí)，根據(jù)愛德華·菲茲杰拉德的英文譯本將《魯拜集》譯成七言詩�！遏敯菁酚诙嗄昵敖^版，后于1989年在臺灣再版。他亦與妻子一起將《易經(jīng)》翻譯成英文，該書于1984年出版。 |
