I’m currently working on a few exciting projects, mainly involving III-V-on-Si techniques and 3D printed nanophotonics. We are developing a number of advanced system-level photonic integrated circuit concepts, including the ones for quantum communications, linear algebra computing, and sensing.



I’d encourage you to submit your application through the university and an interview will be scheduled in due course. Please note that the deadline for a scholarship at XXXXXX is normally in December and I strongly recommend that you prepare your English tests in advance as a few talented students could not come due to a failure to fulfil the English test. I think you get a pretty good chance to win the scholarship (I do have one funded PhD position this year at the UK rate – half to cover the fees for an overseas student).
